THE rules!

The Rules:

(This was posted on the wall at a ruby river we ate at and i thought it was funny.)

1. The woman always makes the rules

2. The rules are subject to change at any time without notification.

3. The female can change her mind at any given point of time.

4. The male must never change his mind without the express written consent of the female.

5. The female is never wrong.

6. When the female is wrong it is because of a flagrant misuderstanding which was a direct result of something the male said or did wrong.

7. If rule six applies the male must apologize immediately for causing the misunderstanding.

8. The female has every right to be angy or upset at any time.

9. The male must remain calm at all times unless the female wants him to be angry or upset.

10. Any attempt by the male to document these rules may result in bodily harm.

11. If the female has PMS all rules are null and void.

(And finally my personal favorite...)

12. The male cannot under any circumstances diagnose PMS.

UPDATE!

so i know it has been a really long time since i have updated so here goes.

Ryan got home from training and spent a week with me in utah. We then picked up and moved to washington state. We have been here for about a week and our stuff just got here 2 days ago. I am still attempting to unpack... I think its going to take a while though...

We are living in a cute little 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house which i will post pics of AFTER i get it all put together. and then i am going to paint. (The last people did a really bad job). but the landlord is really awesome. He is giving us a free month of rent to take care of the painting and a few other things. and pretty much anything we ask for he gets for us. like a saw and a lawnmower and new tile in the kitchen and stuff like that. Anything we dont like or is broken he comes over the next day to fix. It is such a step up from our last 2 landlords. It was like pulling teeth to get anything out of them!

We like it here so far. We have met some really nice people and the ward seems great. It rains here... a lot... It has rained almost everyday since we got here. And when its not rainy its ovecast. I think the BEST weather i have seen on the report so far was "Mostly cloudy and a slight chance of rain"... Its crazy! lol anyways i dont really know what else to say so i guess i am done for now!

Feel free to ask questions though... I am bored enough that it would give me something to do!!! lol

Something Silly...

One of my dads friends emailed this to him the other day and i thought it was really funny:

The language of Woman:

1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five min. is only five min. if you have just been given five more min. to watch the game before helping around the house.

3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with "nothing" usually end in "Fine" (refer to #1).

4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing (refer back to #3 for meaning of nothing).

6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. Thats okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how you will pay for your mistake.

7) Thanks. A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say your welcome. (Unless she says 'Thanks a lot'- that is pure sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'youre welcome', that will bring on a 'whatever' (#8)

8)Whatever: Is a womans way of saying F-- You!!

9) Dont worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times but is now doing herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response, refer to #3.

NEW CAR!!

YEAH!!! We are sooo excited because we finally were able to get a new car!! We bought a brand new Hyundai Tucson. For those of you who dont know what it is here is a pic.:

(ours is accutally the same color and everything!)

We Absolutely love it! I was a little nervouse at first because it is a manual transmission but Ryan taught me how to drive it in two nights and now i love it!

Army Update

Wow... Life has been crazy...

Ok. so i know i told you that we would know where we were going to live but... turns out they are really liking keepin the suspense up. So we still dont know.

Ryan signed on for 4 years of active duty service. Right now he is at training. He has been gone for 1 week and has another week to go. When he gets back he will be home for a month and then he is off again... this time for 10 weeks in Missouri... I am soooo not looking forward to that one... Meanwhile i am staying at my parents house so as not to be alone and not pay rent... so if anyone is bored between May 28th and the middle of August just give me a call... i will be ready for something to do!

Anyways so after about three weeks of this 10 week training they will tell him where we will be moving and then the real adventure will start... It does not seem like we are ever going to move because we have been so close to it so many times and yet here we are....

An Update!

Hey Everyone!

I just wanted to let everyone know that we will be moving at the end of the month. We found someone to rent our apartment and so we need to be out by the first. We are going to stay with my parents until we hear from the army. Hopefully that will be soon but it is really up in the air!
